Was so virtuos und rasant aussah, war nicht nur Tanz pur sondern effektvoll, weil das Ballett mit temporeicher, auf den Punkt präziser, aufwändiger Videokunst kombiniert war, die zum Bauhaus- Thema perfekt passte.
Das intermediale Bühnenbild und das tolle Videodesign stammt von Nicole Aebersold. Zum einen war das auch Bauhaus, zum anderen ein sehr moderner und wahrscheinlich zukunftsträchtiger Weg, Bühnenbilder virtuell, ohne Theaterschreinerei
auf die Bühne zu stellen.

Am Ende reibt man sich mit der Gewissheit die Augen, Zeuge einer Zäsur in der Dramaturgie von Tanz und Bühnenarchitektur gewesen zu sein. Die Aufführung gibt eine überraschend konkret schlüssige Antwort auf die immer wieder mit großem Skeptizismus aufgeworfene Frage, ob die Hegemonie der digitalen Welt die analoge vollständig obsolet mache.
Fluid Housing verbindet auf ingeniöse Weise den Tanz und seine analogen Live-Bewegungen mit den von
der Animationsfilmerin und Videodesignerin Nicole Aebersold geschaffenen digitalen Räumen und komplexen Strukturen.
Im Unterschied zu vielen selbstverliebten, letztlich nur selbstreferentiellen Video-Facetten des modernen Theaters kreiert Aebersold grafisch konkrete Strukturanimation. Kein Selbstzweck, sondern bühnenarchitektonische Innovation im Dienst der Inszenierung.

What looked virtuosic and fast-paced, was not just pure dance, but very effective, because the ballet has been combined with a rapid, precise to the point video art, that fit perfectly to the Bauhaus-theme. On the one hand, this was also Bauhaus, on the other hand a very modern and likely seminal way to put stage design on the stage virtually, without theater carpenting.

In the end one will come to the conclusion, that one has just become a witness of a breakthrough in the directing of dance and stage architecture. The performance gives a surprisingly concrete coherent answer to the question, which has been asked again and again with great scepticism, if the hegemony of the digital world made the analogue completely obsolete. «Fluid Housing» connects in an ingenious way the dance and its analogue live movements with the digitally created spaces and complex structures by the animation filmmaker and video designer Nicole Aebersold. Not an end in itself, but stagearchitectural innovation in the service of the performance.
